Job summary

Heidrick & Struggles is seeking interns in NYC, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, San Francisco for a June 2027 start. You will participate in the end-to-end executive search lifecycle, from candidate research to placement, under senior mentorship.

The role offers exposure to candidate identification, job specification development, industry research, and assessments, with potential for full-time employment for strong performers.

Qualifications

• Must be a university student entering their final year of undergraduate or graduate education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Candidate, company and industry research for active client searches and business development activities.
• Client meetings, including conference calls, intake meetings and briefings.
• How the Search strategy is created (in close collaboration with our clients and their search team).
• Utilizing proprietary tools and technology to generate names of potential search candidates and track data in a Salesforce database.
