Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Principal Scientist/Engineer recruiter to identify and hire world-class scientific and technical leaders. You will advise executives across domains such as NLP, ML, computer vision, robotics, and economics, and build cross-functional talent networks to support Amazon's strategic initiatives.

You will map leadership at target companies and research labs, craft multi-channel engagement strategies, and coach hiring managers on senior-level recruitment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years advising and influencing executive leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 5+ years of recruiting with focus on engineering, technical operations, and product management experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Search Design: develop multi-channel strategies to attract world-class contributors and map target companies and research institutions.
• Executive Advisory: educate leaders on external talent demographics and provide strategic guidance on top talent.
• Candidate Development: develop prospects into candidates, conduct interviews, and coach hiring managers on senior-level engagement.
• Market Expertise: be an expert for technology and science recruiting across technical domains.
