Job summary

Sheraton San Diego Resort, a Peregrine Hospitality property, seeks a Vice President and General Manager to oversee resort and marina operations, driving guest satisfaction, associate engagement, revenue growth, and financial performance. You will lead strategic initiatives to maximize profitability and asset value.

The role emphasizes leadership culture, budgeting, capital planning, and collaboration with ownership, Marriott, and community partners to sustain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Previous General Manager experience at resort or full-service property.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the resort in alignment with Peregrine Hospitality’s Service Culture and develop leadership teams.
• Drive financial success through planning, budgets, forecasts, and profitability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive revenue growth and partnerships.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives, capital plans, and innovation for operational performance.
• Foster positive associate relations and ensure compliance with labor agreements and laws.

Education
