Job summary

• Bachelor's degree preferred; executive search certification is a plus.

Adecco is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Recruiter to support senior-level recruiting across multiple automotive organizations. This role will manage the full-cycle executive recruiting process, from search strategy and talent mapping through candidate selection, offer negotiation, and pre-boarding.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of recruiting passive executive talent, partnering with senior leaders, and managing complex searches within the automotive and/or technology industries. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic recruiter who can operate independently while building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.

Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Pay Rate: $32.00-$45.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Full-Cycle Executive Recruiting: Manage end-to-end recruiting for Director- and VP-level positions, from intake and search strategy through candidate selection, offer negotiation, and pre-boarding.

2. Develop Strategic Talent Pipelines: Source and engage passive executive talent through networking, referrals, recruiting platforms, market research, and industry channels while maintaining proactive pipelines for future leadership needs.

3. Partner with Senior Leaders: Build trusted relationships with executives and hiring leaders, lead intake discussions, establish expectations, provide regular search updates, and advise on candidate evaluation and selection.

4. Conduct Market & Talent Research: Perform competitive market analysis and talent mapping to provide insights on candidate availability, diversity, compensation trends, and leadership talent.

5. Assess & Close Candidates: Evaluate candidates against role requirements and leadership competencies, coordinate structured interviews and debriefs, and manage offer strategy, negotiation, and the overall executive candidate experience.

6. Manage Recruiting Operations: Maintain accurate ATS data, recruiting documentation, search dashboards, and status reports while ensuring compliance with HR policies and SOPs.

7. Drive Cost Savings & Process Improvement: Reduce reliance on external search agencies through effective in-house recruiting, track cost avoidance, and recommend improvements that enhance recruiting speed, quality, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success recruiting and closing passive executive talent.

• Experience managing senior-level or executive searches, preferably Director- and VP-level positions.

• Strong understanding of the automotive and/or technology industries, including leadership talent markets and role structures.

• Proven ability to conduct market research, competitive talent mapping, and passive candidate sourcing.

• Demonstrated ability to build credibility and strong working relationships with senior leaders and executives.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

• Experience working with ATS and recruiting systems, reporting tools, and recruiting dashboards.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and compliance with HR procedures and SOPs.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Executive search certification or relevant recruiting training is a plus.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
