Job summary

Crisis24 is seeking an Executive Protection Agent to join our Private Strategic Group in California. You will provide a high-level security presence for executives, coordinate with field teams, and respond rapidly to threats within client facilities.

Ideal candidates have experience in executive protection, emergency response teams, and residential security, with required CA Guard Card and firearm permits. Elite training and strict discretion are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in executive protection, emergency response teams, PSD, or residential security teams.
• Must hold valid California Guard Card and firearm permit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to maintain discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive protection and a visible security presence for executives and staff.
• Respond to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client’s facilities.
• Monitor and inspect security systems (locks, cameras, access control).
• Produce detailed security incident reports and communicate with leadership.
• Assist with advance walkthroughs, secure transportation, and field operations.

YOUR MISSION

As an Executive Protection Agent, you will be a critical component of our executive protection and emergency response framework. You will operate with precision and professionalism, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and proprietary information. Your responsibilities include:

• Executive Protection & Presence: Provide a visible, reassuring security presence for executives and staff, while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Threat Response: Act as a first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client’s office suite.
• Security Systems Oversight: Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure, including locks, cameras, and access control systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Incident Reporting: Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership.
• Advance & Support Operations: Assist protective agents in field operations, including advance walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage.
• Protocol Enforcement: Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority.
• Emergency Protocol Execution: Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing the safety of executives, staff, and guests.
• Area Sweeps & Surveillance: Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems.
• Team Integration: Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.

What You Bring:

• Experience: Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Protective Security Detail (PSD), or Residential Security Teams (RST)

Certifications & Credentials:

• Valid California Guard Card
• Exposed Firearm Permit REQUIRED
• U.S. Passport & Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED
• American Heart Association BLS ProviderORHeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• Completion of Executive Protection or Residential Security Academy preferred
• Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT)
• Meet-and-Greet evaluation (dependent on client/location)
• Background Investigation & Random Drug Screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military, law enforcement, or ERT experience
• Specialized training in crisis management, emergency medicine, or incident response
• LEOSA/HR 218 or multi-state CCW permit
• EMT license strongly considered, but not required
• Familiarity with Residential Security Technologies, Tools and Processes
