Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety is seeking an Executive Director to supervise the treatment programs and oversee multiple Program Directors across 3–6 sites in Virginia. This leadership role focuses on quality, compliance, and effective clinical operations.

The position is full‑time, Monday–Friday, with budget oversight, staff development, and collaboration with home office. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in management.
• Masters degree or higher required.
• Two years mental health experience in residential or hospital setting.
• Current Driver’s License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and ensures quality of all aspects of 3–6 programs managed.
• Conducts weekly treatment team meetings at each location.
• Communicates with referral sources and outpatient providers for continuity of care.
• Facilitates patient transfers to higher level of care as needed.
• Provides on-call support to facility and coordinates with On-Call Administrator.
• Manages patient intake and discharge processes and maintains charts.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and HIPAA policies.
• Oversees facility maintenance, audits, and budget communications.
