Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program in Stamford, CT seeks a Clinical Director to supervise and provide clinical oversight of the program, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care and a strong team approach.

You will lead daily clinical groups, facilitate treatment team meetings, train staff, coordinate schedules, supervise pre-licensed clinicians, and liaise with referral sources for continuity of care, including transfers to higher levels of care. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher required.
• License required.
• Must be able to supervise unlicensed clinicians.
• Two years mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and ensures quality of clinical aspects of the program.
• Facilitates weekly treatment team meetings to ensure effective communication and client progress.
• Trains all new clinical employees within their scope and coordinates training.
• Maintains clinical employees’ schedules to ensure appropriate clinical presence.
• Provides ongoing training and supervision to ensure services align with the Discovery Mission Statement.
• Leads and supervises clinically oriented groups daily and provides clinical oversight of groups.
• Communicates with referral sources and outpatient providers for continuity of care, including Discovery Connect.
• Facilitates client transfers to higher levels of care as needed.
• Participates in clinical outreach and program tours.
• Facilitates Multi-Family, Family Program and/or Family Weekend.
• Supervises all pre-licensed therapists and provides clinical consultation.
