Job summary

KNOE-TV/Gray Media is seeking an executive producer to join our award-winning team in Monroe, LA. The ideal candidate will ensure newscasts observe the highest journalistic standards, help make content memorable across TV and digital platforms, and mentor the producing team.

The executive producer will be responsible for producing newscasts, along with assisting with online streaming programs, and coordinating content across platforms with a focus on quality and ethics.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and demonstration of editorial judgment, journalistic ethics, and libel laws.
• Previous newscast-producing experience is highly preferred.
• Looking to grow into a leadership role in a newsroom.
• Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Able to work well with a team.
• Flexible to work mornings, nights, and weekends.
