Qualifications

• 3+ years of event planning and creative event design experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local area resources, hotels, venues, and vendors is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and propose theme event experiences in collaboration with our Sales Team.
• Manage assigned projects from inception through program operation.
• Partner with Sales to establish and maintain successful customer relationships.
• Develop event timelines and distribute to all participants.
• Coordinate and conduct creative site inspections.
• Research supplier availability and negotiate to optimize costs.
• Oversee event production elements: staging, sound, lights, decor, entertainment, linens.
• Manage on-site operations of creative service elements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial forecasting for assigned programs.
• Recommend new ways to improve products and services.
