Job summary

Impact Narrative Media is seeking an executive producer who has hands-on directing, editing, and producing experience and can manage a slate across film, podcast, and editorial. You will lead a small portfolio, owning budget, schedule, team, and editorial standards from conception to delivery.

This senior role works with heads of film, audio, and editorial and reports directly to the studio founder. You will decide which projects to pursue, balancing multiple formats while anticipating issues

• Eight-plus years producing nonfiction work (film, audio, editorial, or a combination).
• Demonstrated portfolio of shipped projects with named credits.
• Track record managing budgets in the high six figures.
• Comfortable telling the founder a project should be killed.
• Strong taste—opinions are part of the job.

§ 01 - The work

We are looking for an executive producer who has done the actual work - directing, editing, producing - and can now do it across a slate. You will be responsible for a small portfolio of projects at any given time, owning budget, schedule, team, and the editorial standard of the work that ships.

This is a senior role on a small team. You will be a peer to the heads of film, audio, and editorial, and report directly to the studio's founder. You will say yes to projects, and you will say no to projects.

What we want is someone who can hold a film, a podcast, and a longform feature in their head at the same time, and recognize when one of the three is in trouble before anyone else does.
