Job summary

The Clark County Department of Aviation seeks a Managing Director - Project Management Office to direct three teams responsible for the technology portfolio for Harry Reid International Airport, spanning capital IT, cloud/digital transformation, enterprise data, analytics, GIS, and application development.

This leadership role focuses on establishing PM standards, governance, performance measures, and reporting frameworks to ensure alignment with priorities and resources while guiding a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with complex information technology systems, including at least two (2) years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in an airport or other high-volume, 24/7 operational environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management methodologies, governance, performance measurement, budgeting, resource planning, and risk assessment including cybersecurity considerations for critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and motivate teams while fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Develop performance measures and reporting frameworks, including modern PPM platforms.
• Ensure projects align with priorities, resources, and operational objectives across the portfolio.
