Job summary

RR Donnelley (RRD) is seeking an executive to lead assigned locations toward safety, quality, productivity and financial success. You will develop plans, drive employee development, optimize equipment use, and lead facilities/systems improvement across all functions.

The role includes P&L responsibility, capital and operating budgets, and reporting on manufacturing performance. You will collaborate with Sales to retain and win customers while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA and other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Graphic Arts, or related field required
• 10 or more years diversified management experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in print, labels, packaging

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant to improved safety, quality, productivity and reduction of waste on a consistent and continual basis
• P&L responsibility for assigned locations, including budgets
• Develop and implement education and training programs to improve employee performance
• Provide guidance to department managers for continual improvement of operations
• Collaborate with Sales to maintain and acquire customers
• Review and report on manufacturing activities; initiate actions to remove problems
• Maintain open communication with plant employees and Corporate Staff
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, EEO and other regulations
• Recommend hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and training
• Motivate staff to meet production goals and timelines
• Drive continual process improvement to exceed customer expectations
