Job summary

Bodycote in Hebron, KY, is seeking a General Manager to lead the ADE Surface Technology Plant under the Director of Operations. You will ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and P&L performance while guiding customer satisfaction and business development.

The role requires lean leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to build a strong leadership team, partnering with engineering, quality, and finance, and deploying continuous improvement using Bodycote EDGE methodologies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, technology or related field; MS/MA preferred.
• Minimum 12 years in industrial leadership.
• Lean/Six Sigma project implementation experience.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to ITAR.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety, quality, on-time delivery, and P&L leadership for the plant.
• Drive safety, quality, service, cost, business development, and sales growth goals.
• Develop and retain plant leadership; ensure staffing levels and depth.
• Set standard and drive operational excellence across functions.
• Lead continuous improvement via Bodycote EDGE methodologies.
• Drive customer service focus and grow opportunities with existing customers.
• Plan capital equipment, layouts, and overhead control.
• Oversee workforce planning, hiring, and policy compliance.
• Manage financial aspects in a fiscally responsible manner.
