Job summary

AMCP invites applications for the 2027 AMCP Postdoctoral Executive Fellowship, a year-long, immersive program in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area for pharmacists aiming at health care association leadership or managed care pharmacy.

Fellows work directly with the CEO, join AMCP Leadership Team activities, and gain exposure across governance, strategy, communications, and operations. The program runs June 23 to the following year's June 30, with up to 25% overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Must have or be scheduled to receive a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school before the fellowship's start date.
• Candidates must obtain their pharmacy licensure at the start of the fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Fellows work directly with the CEO and AMCP leadership as an adjunct member of the Leadership Team.
• Participate in governance, strategy development, and strategic communications.
• Engage in operational leadership and professional affairs to gain broad exposure to health care association leadership.
