About the role

Gartner Executive Programs (ExP) and Gartner Enterprise IT Leaders (EITL) are services within Gartner Executive Technology Services (ETS) and serve as essential tools for digital leaders. They are exclusive, membership-based organizations serving over 8,500 CIOs and senior IT leaders across 87 countries. Members, including Fortune 500 companies and governments worldwide, benefit from a centralized source of knowledge and insight focused on Board and C-level challenges, service delivery, and the shared expertise of the world’s largest community of C-level IT executives, CIOs, and CTOs, with Gartner’s objectivity and independence.

Role Overview

The AI Executive Partner will act as a strategic advisor and partner, requiring a visionary leader with deep AI expertise capable of leveraging AI to enable organizational outcomes. This role is ideal for Chief AI Officers, Chief Innovation Officers, Chief Strategy Officers, or Chief Product Officers aiming to make a broader impact across industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage member relationships, providing advisory support to C-Suite executives focused on AI
• Create service solutions for clients using ExP and EITL products
• Assess member priorities and develop customized service plans
• Conduct strategic briefings, research analyst visits, roundtables, and webinars (both virtual and on-site)
• Present at Gartner events when relevant
• Collaborate with Gartner’s sales team to ensure member engagement, renewal, and growth
• Guide executives on AI strategic initiatives, implementation, and optimization
• Provide AI training and mentorship to promote AI literacy and responsible AI practices

Qualifications

• 15+ years in consulting or CxO roles with extensive experience in AI (including ML, NLP, Deep Learning, Robotics, etc.) and digital transformation programs
• 7-10+ years leading enterprise AI initiatives across multiple business units
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, market trends, and generative AI
• Knowledge of AI governance, organizational structures, and maturity models is a plus
• Experience presenting to boards and CEOs is preferred
• Industry experience in banking, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, high tech, or related fields is welcome
• Proven sales and business development skills with CXO-level engagement

Additional Details

This position is remote. The estimated salary range is $193,000 - $225,000, with potential bonuses and benefits including PTO, 401(k) matching, stock options, and more.
