Job summary

RAND CAST seeks an Executive Operations Manager to support the Center’s leadership and operations. You will act as a force multiplier for the Director, Sella Nevo, coordinating the director’s agenda, travel, and meetings across RAND.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in research organizations, philanthropy, government, frontier labs, or related programs.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability; multitask and work under pressure.
• Operational management capabilities and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large, diverse teams including senior staff.
• Discretion handling confidential information and complex meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own the Director’s complex agenda and daily flow with cross-functional support.
• Coordinate travel for ~2 trips per month with travel assistant.
• Conduct quarterly calendar reviews to optimize time and priorities.
• Support RAND-wide processes, including review cycles and board prep.
• Build and maintain a CRM of key contacts across government, industry, and AI security.
• Assist senior technical leads on select projects and respond to ad-hoc requests.
• Draft communications and prepare meeting materials as needed.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of CAST’s San Francisco office.
