Job summary

Fuse in San Leandro, CA is seeking a versatile operator who will work directly with the CEO and leadership on high-priority initiatives—from events and facilities to recruiting, communications, and customer programs. You will identify what matters, organize it, and ensure it gets done from day one.

There is no fixed playbook: you move fast without templates, collaborate cross-functionally, and bring structure and follow-through to ambiguous, high-stakes projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to move fast and figure things out without a playbook, shown through past work, projects, or other commitments that required real initiative under pressure.
• Low ego, high accountability.
• Takes responsibility for outcomes without needing credit.
• Comfortable operating with direct exposure to executive leadership and switching between very different types of projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Take on high-priority projects directly from the CEO and leadership team whatever the business needs most in a given week.
• Move fast without a playbook: figure out what needs to happen and make it happen, even without a template to follow.
• Work cross-functionally across the company, building context quickly on unfamiliar problems.
• Bring structure and follow-through to ambiguous, high-stakes initiatives.
