Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in executive support, business operations, business development, project coordination, or a similar role.
• Proven ability to support senior executives with strategic initiatives, scheduling, meeting coordination, presentations, and confidential matters.
• Experience supporting business growth initiatives, coordinating client relationships, and preparing business proposals.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with executives and clients.
• Ability to analyze business information and prepare reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support executive leadership with day-to-day operational coordination, strategic initiatives, and special projects
• Assist in developing and executing growth strategies focused on financial gain and client satisfaction
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and client needs
• Coordinate and help prepare for meetings with prospective clients and partners
• Promote M&J’s services by supporting proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials
• Maintain detailed records of business development activities, including sales tracking, revenue data, and reporting
• Help build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align branding, messaging, and business development efforts
• Assist in planning and coordinating conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for executive review
• Support internal operations by improving processes, tracking initiatives, and ensuring follow-through on key priorities
• Maintain a strong understanding of M&J’s services, market position, and strategic goals
• Communicate and coordinate with external stakeholders, including public agencies, when necessary
• Provide administrative and operational support to business development and leadership teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities with minimal supervision
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple offices, external consultants, and clients as needed
