Job summary

Constellation Inc. in Washington, DC, seeks an Executive Operations Analyst to evaluate processes, people, and technology for our clients’ operations, supporting the Department of Homeland Security’s law enforcement mission by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing information.

The Analyst will work independently or with a contractor team, presenting findings to clients and assisting senior leadership with decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR management, or a related field.
  • Two years’ experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Four years proven experience as a government consultant or support contractor collecting, analyzing, preparing, and presenting data to senior government leadership.
  • Two years’ experience analyzing data, presenting findings and interacting with senior level executives of government or large commercial enterprise.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and for our client understanding their needs in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Be a U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency; DHS clearance with CBP/ICE or DoD Top-Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use Power BI, Tableau or other visualization software to synthesize information and assist senior executives in making decisions.
  • Develop analytical methods and tools to evaluate and integrate data from various sources to assess and recommend solutions to assigned problems.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on progress, performance, and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to understand and enhance business processes, producing documentation of process requirements and details.
  • Deliver schedule management and milestone tracking for various customer projects utilizing strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Apply oral and written communication expertise to develop project deliverables, including analysis plans, written reports, briefing slides, and discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support studies and meetings; document and compile notes; analyze data; develop guides, SOPs, trackers, publications, one-pagers, fact sheets, etc.
  • Provide calendar and meeting support, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and note taking for staff meetings and office projects.
  • Draft and edit memos, reports, and briefings for review and use by the customer.
  • Perform data entry and asset management functions to include inventory of assets in accordance with agency policies.
  • Provide support for maintaining the organizational source requests utilizing a centralized tracker to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor and respond to routine inquiries via the shared email box or phone, escalating when necessary to the senior leadership.
  • Assist with logistics and coordination of internal training, workshops, tasker responses.

The ideal candidate must have the following experience, background, and credentials:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business,Human Resource Management,ora relatedfield.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with Power BIor similarvisualization tools.
  • Minimum of four years proven experience as agovernmentconsultant or support contractorcollecting, analyzing, preparing, and presentingdata to senior government leadership.
  • Minimum two years’ experienceanalyzingdata, presentingfindingsand interactingwith senior levelexecutivesof a government or large commercial enterprise.
  • Bachelor’s degree in businessor another relevant field.
