We are seeking an Executive Oncology Sales Specialist, Hematology based in Minneapolis East, MN. The territory covers St. Paul, MN, south to Burnsville, MN and Shakopee, MN, and north to Duluth, MN and northern Minnesota.

Role Overview

The Oncology Sales Specialist (OS) is a field-based role reporting to a District Manager. Responsibilities include:

  1. Selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics.
  2. Understanding product clinical efficacy, articulating value propositions, providing clinical support, and achieving sales goals.
  3. Conducting business analysis, prospecting new accounts, developing account strategies, and executing call plans.
  4. Developing customer-specific call plans with objectives and supporting materials.
  5. Increasing sales through account penetration.
  6. Using marketing tools and closing skills to advance sales.
  7. Discussing reimbursement options compliantly to enhance sales.
  8. Negotiating sales and closing orders to meet targets.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including overnight and weekends
  • At least 2 years of successful sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics/biotech, or medical devices, or recent military transition
  • Willingness to meet credentialing requirements and submit to background checks
  • Reside in or willingness to relocate to the territory
Preferred:
  • Experience in specialty sales and knowledge of Hematology, Multiple Myeloma, and Oncology markets
  • Experience with hospital and large account sales, reimbursement issues, Medicare Part D, and successful sales performance in a driven environment

Compensation and Benefits
