Job summary

The Waters of Kingsport seeks an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead overall facility operations in alignment with resident needs and regulations. You will direct all departments, supervise staff, and drive quality care while achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, regulatory compliance, marketing, and building relationships with regulators and families in the Kingsport, TN area.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
• Two years of management or equivalent experience in long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Directs operation of the facility to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
• Attends mandatory in-services and ensures compliance training.
• Communicates Compliance Program and Code of Conduct effectively.
• Plans and monitors all departments; sets priorities, evaluates performance, coaches staff.
• Performs regular rounds to ensure quality care, cleanliness, morale, and operations.
• Utilizes consultants and resources to maintain inter-departmental teamwork.
• Maintains knowledge of regulations and Quality Assurance Standards; promotes morale.
• Manages staffing through recruitment, orientation, training, and staff development.
• Manages budgets, labor costs, payables/receivables, and business office procedures.
• Develops and executes marketing strategies to optimize census, payor mix, and revenues.
• Builds relationships with regulators, families, healthcare community and community.
• Leads education activities and staff meetings across departments.
