Job summary

Memorial Health System in Springfield, IL seeks a Nurse Manager for Family Maternity Suites. The role carries 24-hour unit accountability, fosters professional nursing practice, and leads communication, teambuilding and collaboration to ensure safe, evidence-based care for diverse patient populations.

BSN is required with a Master’s preferred; IL RN license active; 3+ years of acute care leadership. The manager will recruit and develop staff, manage budgets, and align unit goals with MMC Nursing

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current Illinois RN license required.
• Holds national specialty nursing certification in clinical area or nursing administration, or completes within 24 months of assuming role.
• Minimum three years' experience in acute care nursing with demonstrated progressive leadership/management skill REQUIRED.
• Demonstrated understanding of nurse-sensitive quality indicators and basic hospital/nursing regulatory requirements.
