Job summary

Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to lead Patient Care Services across the campus, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction. You will oversee budgeting, staffing, training, and policy implementation in alignment with system-wide standards.

The role requires an RN license, a nursing leadership certification, and a track record of nursing leadership with at least five years as a nurse and three years in management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Master's degree in MSN, MBA or related field.
• Five years of experience as a registered nurse, including acute care.
• At least three years clinical or related management experience.
• RN license (compact or state license).
• Certification in nursing specialty or administration.
• Board Certificate in nursing leadership (Tennessee).

Responsibilities

• Oversee total management of Patient Care Services for the campus hospital.
• Ensure quality patient care and customer satisfaction (patients, physicians, employees).
• Develop and manage department budgets and resources.
• Provide leadership and education to staff; recruit, train and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with medical staff and policy makers; act in absence of Campus President.
