Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing and patient care across one of our acute care facilities in the network. You will provide strategic leadership, oversee nursing services, and ensure high-quality, safe patient care with regulatory compliance.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree (postgraduate preferred), current BLS, 5+ years of progressive management, and 2+ years in leadership. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of practice is required.
Nursing degree required; postgraduate degree preferred or a plan with timelines.
Current BLS certification maintained.
Minimum 5 years of progressive management in a facility environment.
Minimum 2 years of leadership or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership as the senior executive for nursing and patient care.
Lead at an executive level to coordinate nursing services and treatment.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing practice at the facility level.
Ensure 24/7 accountability for high-quality, safe patient care and staffing.
Represent nursing on governance and medical staff leadership meetings.
