Job summary

Jobot seeks a Chief Nursing Officer in Braintree, MA to lead hospital-wide nursing services, ensure high-quality care, and drive staffing, policy, and regulatory excellence. The role oversees budgets, programs, and performance with cross-functional leadership across medical, therapy, and quality teams.

The CNO partners with education, infection control, and governance functions to elevate patient outcomes while meeting Joint Commission and CMS standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license per Massachusetts requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum five years in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Minimum two years nursing management in past five years.
• 24-hour accountability, budget responsibility, policy oversight, disciplinary actions.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred; CRRN in progress within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital-wide nursing operations and ensure nursing care quality.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and operational leaders for patient-focused care.
• Develop and oversee nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
• Represent nursing on Governing Body and Quality/ Ethics committees.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state standards.
• Oversee staffing using acuity, FTEs, and budgeted hours per day.
• Monitor budgets, performance, and disciplinary processes.
• Analyze data to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications.
