Job summary

The Sheraton San Diego Resort in downtown San Diego is seeking an Executive Meeting Specialist to coordinate meetings and events, ensure smooth execution, and act as the main point of contact for guests and internal teams. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

You will support banquet and event management, interact with guests and vendors, and assist in other administrative functions across hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in hotel events, banquets, and customer service preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.

Responsibilities

• Verify on-property event planning and execution, provide on-property event support.
• Serve as primary point-of-contact for guests organizing and attending meeting events.
• Coordinate use of property with Marriott sales and event system.
• Gather materials and assemble information packages.
• Answer calls to management and liaise between events, catering, management and guests.
• Interact courteously with guests, vendors and associates.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain filing systems.
• Manage event calendar and records related to event activities.
• Provide administrative support for hotel operations as needed.
