Job summary

Rhythm Pharmaceuticals seeks an Executive Medical Director to lead global clinical development programs in Boston, MA. This senior physician will design, oversee, and execute Phase 1–3 strategies across rare neuroendocrine and metabolic indications.

You will mentor Medical Directors, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external experts, and represent Rhythm in regulatory engagements, driving patient safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required; Board Certification preferred.
• 8–10 years in clinical development within pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading global regulatory interactions (FDA/EMA).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Phase 1–3 clinical development programs with strategic direction.
• Oversee protocol architecture, medical monitoring, and safety oversight.
• Engage with KOLs, investigators, and advisory boards; mentor other medical directors.
