Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks an Executive Lounge F&B Attendant for JW Marriott Reston Station’s grand opening. You will greet guests, assist with seating, and support dining operations in a luxury hotel setting.

Role requires English communication, teamwork, and attention to health code standards. On-site duties include maintaining dining setup, assisting guests, and ensuring clean, safe service areas.

Responsibilities

Experience a new level of luxury at JW Marriott Reston Station, a stunning 28-story landmark that overlooks Reston Row, a lively urban hub filled with top-notch dining and entertainment options. The hotel features 247 rooms spread across 12 floors, setting a new standard for luxury accommodations in the DMV area. With the largest luxury meeting space in Northern Virginia, totaling 35,000 sq ft, it includes two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings and plenty of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large skylight. The JW Residences occupy the remaining 16 floors. What will you be doing?

Meet and greet guests as they arrive and offer choice of seating in the dining area.

Assist guests with their food and beverage needs while in the dining area.

Maintain proper set-up of dining area.

Preparation of food according to Crescent/brand standards and ensuring proper temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulations.

Replenish food and service supplies and utensils in the dining area.

Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen & dining areas.

Clean out all refrigerators and reach-ins daily; label, date and rotate all food items.

Sweep and mop floors in kitchen floors and vacuum dining area.

Ensure all food orders are put up and stored in proper places with proper dating.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching. Some exposure to cleaning chemicals. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.
