Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Lounge F&B Attendant for the JW Marriott Reston Station grand opening this Fall. Join the opening team delivering elevated food and beverage service in a luxury setting adjacent to Reston Station.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and offer seating options.
• Assist guests with food and beverage needs.
• Maintain proper dining area setup.

• Replenish food and service supplies and utensils.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Rotate and label food items in refrigerators and reach-ins.
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum dining area.
• Store food orders with proper dating.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Join the opening team of the first JW Marriott in Virginia! The hotel features 247 rooms spread across 12 floors, setting a new standard for luxury accommodations in the DMV area. With the largest luxury meeting space in Northern Virginia, totaling 35,000 sq ft, it includes two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings and plenty of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large skylight. The JW Residences occupy the remaining 16 floors. What will you be doing?

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive and offer choice of seating in the dining area.
• Assist guests with their food and beverage needs while in the dining area.
• Maintain proper set-up of dining area.
• Preparation of food according to Crescent/brand standards and ensuring proper temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulations.
• Replenish food and service supplies and utensils in the dining area.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen & dining areas.
• Clean out all refrigerators and reach-ins daily; label, date and rotate all food items.
• Sweep and mop floors in kitchen floors and vacuum dining area.
• Ensure all food orders are put up and stored in proper places with proper dating.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching. Some exposure to cleaning chemicals. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.
