The Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Lounge F&B Attendant for the grand opening of JW Marriott Reston Station in Virginia. You will welcome guests, assist with dining service, and help ensure flawless guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

This role requires English communication, a professional appearance, teamwork, and the willingness to pitch in with duties as needed. You will join an opening team with strong benefits and opportunities to grow within Crescent's luxury

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive and offer seating choices.
• Assist guests with their food and beverage needs in the dining area.
• Maintain proper setup of the dining area.
• Prepare food according to Crescent/brand standards and ensure proper temperatures per health regulations.
• Replenish food and service supplies and utensils.
• Clean and sanitize equipment in kitchen and dining areas.
• Label, date, and rotate food items; manage storage properly.
• Sweep/mop floors and vacuum dining area.
• Ensure correct dating and storage of orders.
• Attend work regularly and perform other duties as assigned.

Join the opening team of the first JW Marriott in Virginia! Experience a new level of luxury at JW Marriott Reston Station, a stunning 28-story landmark that overlooks Reston Row, a lively urban hub filled with top-notch dining and entertainment options. The hotel features 247 rooms spread across 12 floors, setting a new standard for luxury accommodations in the DMV area. With the largest luxury meeting space in Northern Virginia, totaling 35,000 sq ft, it includes two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings and plenty of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large skylight. The JW Residences occupy the remaining 16 floors. What will you be doing?

Meet and greet guests as they arrive and offer choice of seating in the dining area.

Assist guests with their food and beverage needs while in the dining area.

Maintain proper set-up of dining area.

Preparation of food according to Crescent/brand standards and ensuring proper temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulations.

Replenish food and service supplies and utensils in the dining area.

Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen & dining areas.

Clean out all refrigerators and reach-ins daily; label, date and rotate all food items.

Sweep and mop floors in kitchen floors and vacuum dining area.

Ensure all food orders are put up and stored in proper places with proper dating.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching. Some exposure to cleaning chemicals. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.

You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
