Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Lean Practitioner to lead and embed a continuous-improvement culture across the organization. You will train, coach, and challenge leaders from executives to frontline supervisors to rethink how work gets done, set goals, and solve problems.

In this leadership role, you will run Kaizen events, drive rapid-improvement sprints, and facilitate Hoshin Kanri to align priorities with measurable goals across locations, partnering with owners to move work forward with

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in lean or continuous improvement
• Experience training Hoshin Kanri at enterprise or multi-site level
• Proven track record planning and leading Kaizen events with measurable business results
• Strong executive presence and facilitation skills to coach senior leaders
• Proficient in lean tools: process mapping, root cause analysis, standard work, visual management, value-stream mapping, and A3 problem solving

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary catalyst for lean culture change across executive to frontline leaders
• Design and deliver training in lean fundamentals, Hoshin Kanri, and structured problem-solving
• Develop internal lean facilitators to spread improvement capability
• Lead Kaizen events and rapid-improvement sprints targeting high-priority opportunities
• Ensure measurable results and disciplined follow-through after events
• Map current-state and cross-functional processes with front-line performers
• Translate strategy into cascading, measurable goals and catchball
• Establish monthly/quarterly reviews to track progress and accountability
• Partner with Transformation/PMO on cross-functional initiatives
• Maintain standardized process documentation and visual management tools
