Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an enterprise leader for perioperative, surgical, and procedural services. This executive drives system-wide strategic plans, standardizes workflows, and helps achieve high-reliability patient care while growing margins and optimizing OR throughput.

Based in the Intermountain network, the role collaborates with SS leadership to recruit, educate, and retain skilled staff, and to align physicians and proceduralists with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Master of Business or Master of Healthcare Administration from an accredited program (degree verification required).
• 5-7 years of progressive, executive-level leadership experience in complex surgical and procedural services.
• Demonstrated success leading other leaders through organizational change, fostering engagement, accountability, and a high-performing culture.
• Proven track record of effectively developing and executing operational strategies and initiatives that drive organizational performance and achieve desired outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, leadership, complex problem-solving, budget development and management, and data-driven decision-making through statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Leads enterprise-wide strategic initiatives to meet surgical services goals.
• Operational Excellence: Oversees daily OR operations, safety, turnover, and sterile processing efficiency.
• Financial Management: Oversees budgets, resource allocation, revenue cycle, and cost containment.
• Quality and Patient Safety: Aligns practices with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Staff Engagement: Oversees training, education, and workforce readiness for surgical services.
• Provider Partnership: Fosters physician engagement and alignment with leaders to meet objectives.
