Job summary

The Fire Department City of New York (FDNY) seeks a full-time Associate Commissioner to act as the Department's principal advisor on organizational performance and analytics. Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college and 4 years of satisfactory experience of a nature to qualify for the duties and responsibilities of the position, at least 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, or executive capacity or supervising personnel performing activities related to the duties of the position.
• A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above. However, all candidates must have the 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive, consultative or supervisory experience described above.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Department's principal advisor on organizational performance, strategic analytics, process improvement, and enterprise transformation.
• Develop and implement a department-wide performance management framework aligned with the Commissioner's strategic priorities and lead enterprise-wide improvement initiatives.
