Job summary

FDNY seeks a full-time Associate Commissioner to serve as the Department’s principal advisor on organizational performance, analytics, and transformation. The role leads a multidisciplinary team, develops a performance-management framework, and partners across bureaus to improve service delivery using Lean, Six Sigma, and BPM methodologies.

Reporting to the Fire Commissioner, the selected candidate will drive enterprise-wide improvement initiatives, build executive dashboards and KPIs, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4 years of experience, including 18 months in administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory roles.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide performance management or organizational improvement initiatives is preferred.
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, BPM, Change Management, or similar are a plus.
