The Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY), seeks a full-time Associate Commissioner. Reporting directly to the Office of the Fire Commissioner, the Associate Commissioner will serve as the Department’s principal advisor on organizational performance, strategic analytics, process improvement, and enterprise transformation. The selected candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for evaluating organizational effectiveness, analyzing operational and administrative performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting executive decision-making through data-driven insights. This position will partner with Bureau Chiefs, Deputy Commissioners, uniformed leadership, and civilian executives to improve operational performance, modernize business processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the Department.
