City of New York is seeking an Administrative Director of RES for Crossroads Juvenile Center to oversee detention operations and ensure the safety and welfare of youth and staff.

The role requires coordinating with ACS Police, developing contingency plans, and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders. Evening, weekend, and holiday work are required, with a salary between $155,000.00 and $165,000.00.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work with four years of full-time, paid professional experience in a child care setting, including two years in admin capacity.
• Master's degree in sociology, psychology, education, public administration or related field with five years of experience including two years in admin capacity.
• Education/experience equivalent to 1 or 2 above, with two years administrative experience in a child care setting.

Responsabilités

• Oversee detention operations and ensure safety, security, and wellness of youth and staff.
• Coordinate with ACS Police and investigations; manage contingency and response plans.
• Develop and staff a Rapid Response Team; ensure adherence to policies and incident reporting.
