Banner Health Corporate in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Chief Health Services Officer to lead the ASO health services operations, including prior authorization, utilization management and program development. The role collaborates with the CMO and medical directors to advance patient care quality and program outcomes.

The position requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and deep regulatory knowledge to ensure compliant, cost-effective health services across Banner Plans and ASO operations.

Competenze

• Master's degree in business, healthcare or related field; 5+ years of admin leadership in an integrated environment.
• 7+ years of director-level healthcare management with quality improvement exposure.
• Knowledge of NCQA, HEDIS, CMS and AHCCCS requirements; Medicare/Medicaid program experience.

Mansioni

• Direct health services operations for the ASO, including authorization, utilization management and care programs.
• Collaborate with CMO and medical directors to improve outcomes and optimize use of funds.
• Oversee clinical care management programs and related services within the ASO.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive cost containment and efficient resource use.
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines impacting medical care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations across health service units.
