MAAC is seeking a bold and community-centered President & CEO to guide its multi-site nonprofit in San Diego County. The leader will partner with the Board to drive MAAC’s impact, financial sustainability, and mission alignment across programs, funding streams, and diverse communities.

This in-person role requires strong financial and operational discipline, strategic planning, and exceptional communication to engage employees, labor representatives, government agencies, funders, and community

Competenze

Significant executive leadership experience in a complex nonprofit, public-sector, or mission-driven organization.
Knowledge of affordable housing, community development, education, health and human services, workforce development, or related fields is preferred.
Demonstrated success leading large, multi-site organizations with diverse funding streams and operational complexity.

Mansioni

Lead the development and execution of MAAC's strategic vision and priorities.
Engage proactively with the Board of Directors to strengthen governance and accountability.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, audits, financial controls, and organizational risk management.
Lead revenue diversification efforts across public funding, philanthropy, partnerships, and other sources.
Foster a healthy, inclusive culture, develop leadership capacity, and retain a high‑performing Executive Leadership Team.
