Job summary

Big Watt Digital, LLC seeks a VP of Engineering to lead the company’s Engineering Group and drive all technical and engineering workstreams. This senior executive will establish and enforce standards, oversee consultants, and champion continuous learning to modernize the fleet and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role reports to executive leadership and collaborates with other groups to optimize asset strategies.

Qualifications

• Senior executive with responsibility for all engineering workstreams.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards across the organization.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and oversee external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the engineering organization, including talent strategy and training.
• Develop and implement technical standards and procedures for efficient operations.
• Establish KPI for engineering efforts and monitor monthly progress.
• Oversee budgeting for engineering resources and external advisors.
• Collaborate with project, procurement, ES&H and controls teams to align engineering deliverables.
• Approve plant configurations, technology selection and system integration to meet safety and efficiency targets.
• Communicate technical risks and recommendations to executives and the board.
