Job summary

TNTP is seeking a Chief Education to Career Officer to lead the Education to Career portfolio and scale new lines of work with employers, industry, workforce, and postsecondary partners. This role will align strategy with a changing economy and drive sustainable funding models, while building trust with diverse partners.

The executive will champion AI fluency in strategy, own measurable outcomes, and lead a team to deliver high-impact programs that advance equitable education‑to‑career pathways

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in workforce development, career pathways, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience building, launching, and scaling transformational education-to-career, workforce, employer-partnership, or cross-sector systems work.
• Demonstrated success in business development, professional-services growth, partnership development, revenue generation, and sustainable funding models.
• Exceptional executive communication, narrative, and storytelling skills, with experience serving as a senior organizational spokesperson and influencing national or system-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set and articulate a clear, compelling vision for TNTP’s Education to Career portfolio across markets and sectors.
• Define enterprise strategy for connected education-to-career pathways across K-12, postsecondary, workforce, employer, and industry systems.
• Bring labor-market trends, AI-driven shifts, and partnership opportunities to shape organizational direction.
• Create and scale new service models and partnerships that prove effective across markets.
• Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team and drive revenue-minded market entry and sustainability.
