TNTP The New Teacher Project in the United States is seeking a Chief Education to Career Officer to lead the Education to Career portfolio, expanding TNTP’s reach beyond the K-12 footprint through partnerships with employers, industry, workforce, and postsecondary partners. This executive will apply AI insights to shape strategy, drive measurable outcomes, and develop scalable, revenue-minded services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in workforce development, career pathways, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience building, launching, and scaling transformational education-to-career, workforce, employer-partnership, or cross-sector systems work.
• Demonstrated success in business development, professional-services growth, partnership development, revenue generation, and sustainable funding models.
• Deep understanding of connected education-to-career ecosystems and the ability to interpret labor-market signals, policy changes, employer needs, emerging trends, and technology shifts.
• Experience creating new lines of work, testing emerging models, using data to assess outcomes, and scaling effective services or business lines.
• Exceptional executive communication, narrative, and storytelling skills, with experience serving as a senior organizational spokesperson and influencing national or system-level decisions.
• Established relationships across public, private, civic, philanthropic, employer, industry, postsecondary, and/or workforce-development sectors.
• A strong record of building and leading high-performing teams, aligning varied stakeholders around shared outcomes, navigating ambiguity and competing interests, and making principled decisions with accountability and resilience.
• Ability and willingness to travel 35-40% to engage with partners, clients, funders, TNTP teams and other stakeholders.

• Define enterprise strategy for connected education-to-career pathways across K-12, postsecondary, workforce, employer, and industry systems.
• Grow and manage new lines of work, incubate services, and scale effective models across markets and sectors.
• Bring real AI fluency to the strategy and translate labor-market insights into actionable programs.
• Own measurable outcomes across TNTP’s education-to-career ecosystem and drive impact for youths and partners.
