Job summary

South Dakota State Government seeks the Chief Executive Officer of the South Dakota Council on Developmental Disabilities, a full-time 40-hour weekly role. The CEO will oversee staff, grants, and state plans, traveling as required statewide and nationally to advance advocacy and systems change for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, with experience in grants, budgets, and leadership of large groups

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Experience in developmental disabilities, grant/contract management, and facilitation of large groups or committees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary staff support to the SD Council on Developmental Disabilities.
• Recruit, train and supervise personnel of the Council.
• Prepare annual State plans, reports and budgets per federal requirements.
