Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking a Senior Vice President of Airport Operations to lead and unify operations across Reagan National and Dulles airports, ensuring safety, security, efficiency, and a superior passenger experience.

The SVP will guide Airport Managers, oversee the Operational Support division, manage budgets, and drive enterprise-wide performance standards while complying with FAA, TSA, DHS, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressively responsible professional experience in airport operations or similar complex environment.
• Experience directing multiple operational divisions through senior managers.
• Knowledge of FAA Part 139, TSA security requirements, SMS, and business continuity.
• Ability to develop enterprise strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, boards, and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Directs, coordinates, and evaluates airport operations across DCA and IAD to ensure safe, secure, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
• Provides executive leadership to Airport Managers and Operational Support teams; sets priorities and performance expectations.
• Oversees budgets, workforce planning, and resource allocation within the division; ensures regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to integrate operational needs into capital projects and long-range plans.
• Actively monitors regulatory changes and industry trends to enhance operational resilience and strategic growth.
