Core States Group is seeking a Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead the architecture and engineering unit, coordinating projects, personnel, and operations. You will shape business development, forecast sales, and manage financial performance for the mechanical engineering team.

The role requires a PE license, 15+ years in mechanical PM within A/E/C, and strong leadership. Hybrid work options available with travel up to 35% nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• P.E. license required.
• 15+ years in mechanical engineering PM within A/E/C.
• 8+ years of supervisory experience.
• MS Office required; AutoCAD and Revit a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee mechanical engineering projects and staff.
• Drive business development and client relationships.
• Oversee feasibility studies, proposals, and contracts.
• Guide program management with timelines and budgets.
• Mentor staff and implement best practices and KPIs.
• Collaborate with senior PMs and cross-office teams.
• Support strategic growth and performance improvements.
