Job summary

MassMutual is seeking an enthusiastic, well-rounded leader as Head of Liability ALM Strategy, a key leader in the ALM framework. This role reports to the Chief Actuary and partners with Investment Management and Enterprise Risk Management to drive ALM methodologies, reporting, and analytics across all insurance products.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of actuarial experience in ALM, hedging, capital management, and risk assessment.
• Strong knowledge of US life insurance, annuities, and health products; experience with valuation/CFT and pricing.
• Experience with actuarial projections software (AXIS, Prophet) and model governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead ALM strategy and execution across MassMutual’s insurance products.
• Collaborate with Investment Management and ERM to align liabilities with assets and capital risk.
• Present progress and insights to IOC and senior management with clarity and credibility.
• Build and govern complex ALM models and supporting data infrastructure.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing actuarial/quantitative team.
