Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• 7 years of experience in leadership roles with direct reports.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with production cost modeling software applications such as PLEXOS or PROMOD.
• Experience with Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs), and their market structures, rules, and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute risk frameworks across Google's energy portfolio.
• Drive long-term electricity price forecasting using grid modeling to simulate scenarios.
• Partner with procurement, operations, sustainability, and finance to integrate risk and pricing insights into negotiations.
• Translate complex modeling and risk metrics into clear, actionable insights for executives.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a specialized team of quantitative analysts, grid modelers, and energy risk professionals.
