Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) is seeking a Senior Director of Commercial Strategic Sourcing to define and execute a Corporate sourcing vision across Media Planning, Agencies, Trade Shows, Market Research, Patient Support Programs, and Promotional Services.

The role partners with ELT, Finance, and cross-functional leaders to deliver value, innovations, and risk management while driving cost optimization and governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Strategic Sourcing or Procurement leadership.
• Proven ability to lead enterprise category strategies, value creation, and savings.
• Experience negotiating high-value contracts and managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical Commercial sourcing categories (Media, Agencies, Market Research, Events, Patient Services).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a forward-looking Commercial Strategic Sourcing vision aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead enterprise-wide category management across all assigned Commercial spend categories.
• Drive annual productivity and savings objectives with measurable financial impact.
• Negotiate and lead complex supplier contracts exceeding high value, manage risks and governance.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance programs with executive reviews.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or related field

MBA

CPSM/CIPS/ISM or equivalent certifications
