Texas Education Agency in Texas seeks a Deputy Director, Charter School Portfolio to oversee the division's work on charter school performance, amendments, renewal, revocation, governance, and operator engagement. This role will lead a small team, use the Charter School Performance Framework to drive strategic decisions, and provide high-level technical assistance under minimal supervision.

- Leads a team of up to two Portfolio Coordinators.
- Uses data, including the Charter School Performance Framework, to guide growth, expansion, renewal, revocation and tiered monitoring.
- Provides highly consultative and technical assistance work.
- Reports to the Director of Charter School Authorizing.
- Travel up to 10% based on business needs.
