Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological, chemical, biomedical, or related scientific field required.
• Significant experience in research leadership, laboratory operations, or research administration in an academic medical center, hospital, or biomedical research environment required.

Responsibilities

• Strategic scientific and program leadership across the center; define and advance scientific/operational vision.
• Oversee research operations, infrastructure, workflows, and equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and culture development for staff and trainees.
• Provide regulatory, compliance, and risk oversight; manage protocols and audits.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and resource stewardship for the lab and related activities.
• Develop and manage partnerships with institutional leaders, researchers, clinicians, and external collaborators.
