Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking an accomplished Chief Scientific Officer, Research Strategy and Operations, to drive scientific direction and operational excellence for the Resnek Family Center for Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis Research. The role partners with the Principal Investigator to shape strategy, program operations, personnel management, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological, chemical, biomedical, or related field required.
• Significant experience in research leadership, laboratory operations, or research administration within an academic medical center, hospital, or biomedical research environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance the scientific and operational vision for the Resnek Family Center.
• Lead diverse research portfolio spanning basic, translational, and clinical investigation.
• Oversee laboratory operations, infrastructure, scheduling, space, equipment, and vendor management.
